The American Percival Duke is back. Known from The Voice of Germany and Promi Big Brother, he opens his current tour ‘Almost’ Classical at the English Theatre of Hamburg. With a repertoire of Piaf, Mercury, Knef, Legrand, Brel, the Beatles and many more, the rocker is a little quieter this time. But it will be emotional in any case: Duke dedicates his new album to his idol, the French composer Michel Legrand. Accompanied by James Mironchik on piano, Rebecca Czech on violin and Yesong Lee on cello, the all-round talent will guide you through the evening. Whether Broadway, classical chanson or grunge rock – Percival moves comfortably through all corners of the musical spectrum.
