Jess trained at the University of Birmingham (BA Drama and English) and on the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre’s flagship actor training programme, SPRINGBOARD. During her time at the Lyric, she played Helen in Dipo Baruwa-Etti’s reimagining of THE TROJAN WOMAN and represented the theatre at the FOR/WITH/BY FESTIVAL in Madrid and Uppsala. Further theatre credits include: ONE BREATH BEFORE THE END (Union Theatre), THE THREAT OF A STORM (Soho Theatre), EXTREMISM (Chichester Festival Theatre), and TALES THROUGH TIME (Westenhanger Castle). She also appeared in THE MALADIES (The Orange Tree Theatre) during her time in OTT’s Young Company, and Itch + Scratch’s MURDER IN KILLVILLE (The Rose Theatre) with the National Youth Theatre. Screen work includes the award-winning VR film IN PURSUIT OF REPETITIVE BEATS, funded by the BFI and toured internationally, including at SXSW and The Barbican.

William trained at Fourth Monkey Drama School and Raindance Film School. He has performed in theatre extensively, ranging from multiroling Shakespeare to contemporary new writing. His Shakespeare roles include: Banquo, Malcolm and The Porter in MACBETH, Lorenzo in THE MERCHANT OF VENICE and Chiron in TITUS ANDRONICUS. His contemporary work includes playing Dr. Herbert West in THE ATROCITIES AT ARKHAM (London Lovecraft Festival) and Dr. Seamore in 1:1 (Edinburgh Fringe). Recently, William starred as the sole lead in the award-winning short film INGEST (2025). He has also won Best Performance and Best Actor for playing Peter in his short film THE OTHER GUY (2023).
