Myth, adventure and self-discovery: this is what the new musical LIZARD BOY skilfully combines. Set in the heart of Seattle, the play tells the captivating story of Trevor, a young man with a secret: he is part lizard. But in a world where lizard people are not accepted, it is difficult to live openly.
With intoxicating music that combines indie rock, pop and soulful melodies, LIZARD BOY is an unforgettable musical experience that celebrates its European premiere on the Hamburg stage! So far, the play has only been seen in America, where it premiered in Seattle in 2015. Further productions have been staged Off-Broadway 2023 in New York, among others. The book and music were written by award-winning author Justin Huertas. No one should miss it!
