Deputy Stage Manager (m/f/d)
The English Theatre is a renowned theater that presents high-quality English-language productions. We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Deputy Stage Manager to join our dynamic team.
Your responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth running of performances, including overseeing cues, props, and scene changes
- Support with maintaining the organization of the rehearsal room and backstage areas
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of show documentation, including cue sheets and show reports
- Ensure the health and safety of the cast and crew during rehearsals and performances
- Step in for the Stage Manager when necessary
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Stage Manager or Deputy Stage Manager, ideally in a theater setting
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask under pressure
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English
- Flexibility and the ability to work evenings and weekends
- A passion for theater and working in a collaborative environment
